Chat overlay
A transparent chat box for your stream with Twitch, 7TV, BTTV and FFZ emotes, badges and name paints. It reads public chat, so it never needs your password. In chat, =overlay gives you this link too.
for software that only takes local files
Sample messages (marked PREVIEW) only appear here, to show emote effects. Your stream never shows them.
Tip: in OBS, right-click the source → Interact, then double-click the chat to change the font, outline and background without changing the link.
Adding it to your software
- OBS Studio: Sources → + → Browser → paste the URL → width 800, height 500.
- Streamlabs Desktop: Add Source → Browser Source → paste the URL → 800 × 500.
- Meld Studio: Add Layer → Browser → paste the URL.
- XSplit: Add Source → Webpage → paste the URL.
- Twitch Studio: Add Layer → Embed → Browser Source → paste the URL.
